The Stagecoach Inn
Mr. Zenos Tillotson was the first proprietor of the Stagecoach Inn, a hotel for weary travelers thorough Southern Michigan. As early as 1846 he operated stagecoach lines from Ann Arbor to Niles using Marshall as the main stopping point.
This was a very busy and important hostelry, offering in many historically important people who have enjoyed the warm, friendly hospitality of the Stagecoach Inn.
Today this is the oldest continuously open town between Detroit and Chicago and has become one of the rare, genuine early American Places of historical interest in the Midwest. As always, a cordial welcome awaits you here.
