To the men and women of Shelby who helped preserve freedom for all ages to come let none forget they gave their all and faltered not when came the call
Forever serving shoulder to shoulder
In memory of all Shelby veterans
This memorial honors all American veterans who, although separated by generations, shared a common, undeniable goal -- to valiantly protect our country's freedoms.
Their past and its sufferings make the new day better for future generations.
