Saint Mary's Catholic Church
In Spring 1866 Father Henry Meurs came to Glasgow at the request of area Catholics. Soon work was begun on Church building. Bricks purchased from McClinicks Brickyard, of Glasgow, for $10.00 per hundred. In 1897 church remodeled as Satolli Hall and used as school. Present church then built. Dedicated May 1913. In 1956 parish was joined to Diocese of Jefferson City and parishes of west Glasgow and Marian Hill were incorporated in St. Mary’s.
