1. Field House Marker
Inscription. The Field House was the second building built on the Bancroft Campus and was originally funded by a $2.8 million Toledo tax levy that was used to purchase the land and also build University Hall. The Field House was completed in 1931 and served as the gymnasium and home of the Rocket basketball team until 1976 when Savage (then Centennial) Hall was finished.
 
Erected by Class of 1940.
