1. Heilige Geesthuis Marker
Inscription.   Heilige Geesthuis, later ook Vondelingenhuis, uit het einde van de 15de eeuw. In oorsprong circa 72 m diep en doorlopend tot aan de Burgwal. Vanaf 1578 tot in de 19de eeuw in gebruik als stadstimmerwerf.

Former 'Heilige Geesthuis', later 'Foundling Hospital', late 15th century. Originally circa 72 meters long, reaching as far as the Burgwal. Used as town carpenter's yard from 1578 till into the 19th century.
