Onderwijsgebouw uit 1865, in neoclassicistische stijl ontworpen door gemeentearchitect C.J. de Bruyn Kops. Oorspronkelijk van de Polytechnische School, een voorloper van de Technische Universiteit. Sedert 1989 'Vrije Akademie’ voor kunstonderwijs.
