Holy Ghost Chapel
Kort na 1400 gebouwd als kapel bij het Heilige Geestzusterhuis. In de 17de eeuw onder meer gebruikt als wapenopslagolaats van de Generaliteit. Gerestaureerd in 1919-1924 en daarna in gebruik als aula van de TH. Sedert 1972 als St.-Hippolytuskapel voor de rooms-katholieke eredienst in gebruik.

Short overview of the history of the building - in the beginning (in translation): The Chapel of the Holy Spirit Sister House, popularly known as the Holy Spirit Chapel, was built around 1400 on foundations of(Submitted on March 13, 2023.)an older date. The Heilige Geestzusterhuis stood next to it, where the Girls' House now stands. The Heilige Geestzusterhuis was a city institution in which single women with no means could enter. Although they were not monastics and were under civil rule, they lead a very religious life under a Father and a Mater. The chapel was inaugurated in 1412 and a chaplain was appointed by the bishop.
In the great city fire of 1536, the chapel was also hit by the fire. Only the walls and the tower were still standing. The chapel was quickly rebuilt
