Millersburg, Kentucky Major Miller surveyed 100 acres of land, given to him by the Governor of Virginia as an inducement to settle in Kentucky. Miller plotted them into town lots, which were incorporated as the town of Millersburg. It was on a highway of immigration into KY from the East, resulting in Millersburg growing in size and importance.
