His courageous actions were instrumental in saving the lives of his fellow soldiers and served as an inspiration to the remainder of the unit. Private First Class Bradley's personal heroism, professional competence, and devotion to duty were in keeping with the highest traditions of the military service, and reflected great credit upon himself, the American Division, and the United States Army. Posthumously promoted to Corporal, awarded Purple Heart and the Silver Star.
