In 1618-1620 gebouwd naar ontwerp van Hendrick de Keyser. De middeleeuwse bakstenen toren bleef daarbij gehandhaafd. Deze toren. 'Het Steen'. uit het einde van de 13 de eeuw was oorspronkelijk onderdeel van een grafe- lijk hof. In de 15de eeuw in gebruik genomen als stad- huis. waarbij de toren in natuursteen werd verhoogd.

Town hall built in 1618-1620 to a design by Hendrick de Keyser. The medieval tower 'Het Steen' dates from the late 13th century and originates from a count's court. Taken into use as town hall in the 15th century. At that time a stone top storey was added to the brick tower.

railway station building. Originally designed by the Dutch architect Hendrick de Keyser, it was heavily changed over the centuries and was restored in the 20th century to its Renaissance appearance.
