Maimaran Brothers
The store served as a social and commercial center. In 1948 it became a center for food distribution. The Maimaran brothers took part in organizing the supply conveys in which weapons and ammunition were smuggled in. The brothers also offered financial support to the residents of the Quarter that were engaged in fighting until its conquest by the Arab forces in 28.5.1948
