1. The Eastern Huldah Gate Marker
Inscription. The eastern Huldah Gate, built in the Second Temple period, was a triple gate. Of the original masonry, only the threshold and the lowest stone of the left doorpost have survived. A person cured of an illness carved a Hebrew inscription of thanksgiving on this stone, probably in the Middle Ages.

(Arabic and Hebrew texts not transcribed.)
