Inscription.
For over twenty years, we grew and evaluated new annual varieties from various commercial companies in this area. Unfortunately, many of these varieties never became available to the gardening public.

In an effort to make this area more relevant to the home gardener, we are repurposing the trial beds to test plants that are currently available in nurseries and catalogs.

This area will now feature a changing selection of annuals, perennials, shrubs and many even some small trees that are new to the market or new to the St. Louis area but still available.

We hope you enjoy this new direction for our trial beds as much as we do. Keep track of your favorites!
