Professor Glandon served as Chair of the Department of Education for fifteen years. He was longstanding coordinator for secondary education programs and he chaired and served on numerous Academic Senate committees. The recipient of the Outstanding Educators of Ameria Award, Citation for Significant Contributions to the Teaching Profession, the YCP Student Senate Faculty Recognition Award, the Phi Delta Kappa Outstanding Educator Award and the YCP Making A Difference Award, his extraordinary dedication and service have inspired generations of educators.
