During his tenure at York College, Dr. Jones was known for his enthusiastic love of literature, film, theatre, and the arts. Noted for his dedication to his students and his sense of whimsy and humor in the classroom, he was a gifted and popular teacher. He has published widely on the intersections of literature, film, and theatre. He served the English and Humanities Department as Chair for 15 years, contributed to numerous college committees, and was active in the community.
