Originally a member of the York Junior College faculty in the field of Management, Professor Lisk was a major influence in the transition to a four year institution, the development of the Academic Senate, and the definition of College Core Requirements. He was Chair of Professional Standards, Long Range Planning, Curriculum and Catalog, Budget, and Faculty Benefits Committees as well as President of the Academic Senate. Professor Lisk also served as Chair of the Department of Business Administration.
