Northern Gate of the Russian Compound
Around the compound was a perimeter wall with two formal gates at north and south. This is one of the two gate houses, built in 1890. The other was pulled down in the 70s. On the facade is the emblem of the "Imperial Russian Orthodox Palestine Society".
