Inscription.

Professor Morrison established a tradition of excellence both in the classroom and in his scholarship. His classes on the Civil War and military history were legendary among students. His numerous publications included "The Best School in the World: A History of West Point." He served on several committees of the Academic Senate and as the Advisor to Omega Theta Chi fraternity. He received the Professional Service and Leadership Award and was granted Emeritus status upon his retirement.
