Associate Professor Meisenhelter served York College of Pennsylvania and his department tirelessly over his 33 years of service. He served as President of the Academic Senate and as chair of several Senate committees.

Associate Professor Meisenhelter was an early advocate of experiential learning. He mentored many students and founded the Student SIFE Chapter. Under his leadership, the YCP SIFE Team earned many accolades, and its students were highly sought after by Fortune 100 companies. Through SIFE, Associate Professor Meisenhelter was also responsible for helping York College deepen its connections with York area businesses and residents.
