Granada Hills Lodge was formed by San Fernando Lodge No. 343 and in 1958 it was constituted as Lodge No. 790. Later that year the San Fernando lodge purchased the present location in Granada Hills. The building was a Christian Church at the time, and it was converted to a Masonic Lodge. San Fernando lodge was constituted in 1906 and lasted until the late 60’s.

In 1990, Mizpah Lodge No. 378 of Los Angeles, which was constituted in 1906, requested a merger with Granada Hills Lodge No. 790. This was approved on December 1, 1990, to be known as Granada Hills Lodge No. 378.

The following year, Lodge No. 482, constituted in 1922, also merged with Granada Hills Lodge No. 378.
