Inscription. Born and raised in St. Louis, actor Jon Hamm graduated from John Burroughs School in 1989, where he later taught drama before moving to Los Angeles in 1995. Jon's breakout performance as Don Draper on the hit series "Mad Men" (2007-2015) would earn him an Emmy and two Golden Globes. Hamm would also be Emmy nominated for his performances on "30 Rock," "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" and for hosting "Saturday Night Live." A committed, hard-working actor, Jon Hamm's performances ran the gamut from thrillers like "The Town" (2010), dramas such as "Richard Jewell" (2019), comedies like "Bridesmaids" (2011) as well as the blockbuster "Top Gun: Maverick" (2021).
