1. First Baptist Church Marker
First Baptist Nashville has played a significant role in the leadership of our denomination, giving guidance in the formation of the Baptist Sunday School Board, strengthening the work of new congregations in Nashville and around the world, and faithfully proclaiming Jesus Christ as the Savior of humankind. When the present sanctuary was occupied in 1970, this tower was left to stand as a historical symbol. The tower was restored and dedicated on October 7, 2001.
