1. Marion High School Marker
Inscription. Originally, the first floor had eight classrooms and the upper floor housed the auditorium. The ground-level basement housed only the furnace room and restrooms until 1928 when part of the basement was also used for the school's first cafeteria begun as a Parent Teacher Association project. Meals at this facility were 15 cents. Due to the limited number of students in each grade, all classes in the Marion School District were conducted in this building.
