1. UGA vs Georgia Tech Marker

Inscription. In one of the Bulldogs most impressive performances of "Clean Old-Fashioned Hate", # 4 Georgia capped Vince Dooley's second SEC Championship team in three seasons with a fifth straight victory over the Yellow Jackets. Leading 17-0 at the half, Erk Russell's famed defense didn't let Tech inside the Bulldogs 33-yard line. In the second half, Georgia piled on 30 more points, picked up a fumble, an interception and registered a safety. The Bulldogs improved to 8-0-2 and earned a berth in the Sugar Bowl.
