Inscription. The building was renovated and modified several times in the 1st and 2nd c. A.D. In its final stage, the arena was shortened and the southern section of the building was converted into an oval amphitheater for gladiatorial combats and hunting games. Finally, in the Byzantine period, the arena was filled in and built over.
