Regarding Old Liberty Water Works. The town of Liberty purchased the property for the “Old Liberty Water Works” building in 1895 from the Liberty Manufacturing Company. It was only used as a water works until 1901, after which it was used as a residence. The Union County Historical Society purchased the property in 1999. – Union County Historical Society
