1. J.W. Talbott Marker
Inscription. The great-grandfather of U.S. Senator Bob Dole. Talbott purchased a mill on the Rising Sun riverfront in 1847 built by Moses Turner in 1827. The mill burnt in 1889. Senator Dole visited the site of the former mill in 1998.
