Inscription. Ohio County Elementary Middle School opened in 1972 with new students from Cass-Union and eighth graders from the high school. 35 rooms expanded to 41 in 1998 along with a remodeled cafeteria and new gym (formerly one unit). A new library & office space were added in 2007.
