"1892 Santa Maria Church Bell, located at Santa Maria Church at 20 Santa Maria Way in Orinda. The bell is cast in bronze. The is 14 inches tall, has a 17 inch circular base and a 21 inch long yoke. The bell weighs in excess of 600 pounds. A rope wheel is attached to the yoke. The bell is mounted on a 20 inch by 33 inch wood frame. The was built by W.T. Garratt Company of San Francisco in 1892. "W.T. Garratt Co. 1892" is inscribed on the bell. "Garratt Co., San Francisco" is inscribed on the yoke of the bell."
