On part of lot #98 Company Shops 1986 plat of North Carolina. Railroad land purchased June 18, 1860, from Willis Sellars & wife, Mary, by N.C.R.R. and sold January 18, 1878 for 275.00 to Geoage George H. Troxler, born 1841
One of Burlington's oldest three story solid brick structures. Built by Andrew C. "Anse" Mitchell, contractor for George H. Troxler & Robert J. Hall, pioneer landowhers and builders. First called-Troxler Building.
