Inscription. The winner of four NASCAR cup series championships, Jeff Gordon helped transform auto racing into a mainstream American sport. Gordon recorded 93 cup series wins in his career. His Bristol highlights include five cup victories, including four consecutive wins at the Food City 500, 1995-1998; and five pole positions, including back-to-back poles in 2002.
