Buchanan Hall
1888-1937
It was named for John L. Buchanan, the sixth president of the university, and stood near the southeast corner of present-day Mullins Library. Known as "Buck Hall" by its residents, Buchanan's name later was memorialized in the name of Buchanan-Droke residential hall.
(Caption) Buchanan Hall was razed in 1937 when Razorback Hall (later called Gibson Hall) was built nearby.
