Inscription. Formed 28 April 1836 from School Dist. #11. School from 1836-1934 Meeting House to 1955. 1/5 ac. sold by J. J. Hallock for $50. Trustees: D. Roe - J. Knapp - J. Wood

2. Sugar Loaf School District #4 Marker
The marker is mounted on the original part of the structure (right), now an office of the Sugar Loaf Engine Company. The left portion was an addition added by the fire company when it was their fire house.
