Draper Park School. . Built in 1912, the architect was Niels Edward Liljenberg. This building replaced a school that was built on this same site in 1883. The school was named in honor of John R. Park, a leading educator in Utah, a former teacher and principal in Draper, and the first president of the University of Utah. For many years both elementary and junior high school classes were taught here. John R. Park was teaching at the Willow Creek School in Draper in 1866, "Had the best school in the territory," according to the Deseret News. This building has been used as a community center as well as a temporary home for several religious groups. The building is now used as the Draper city offices.
