Nederlands toneelspeler, woonachtig in Amsterdam. Zijn 25-jarig jubileum speelde hij de rol van Jago in 'Othello' en tien jaar later, zijn 35 jarig jubileum, in dezelfde rol. Bracht in 1870 Marion de Lorne van Victor Hugo in Nederlandse verzen over.

Dutch actor, living in Amsterdam. On his 25th anniversary as an actor he played the role of Iago in 'Othello' and ten years later, for his 35th anniversary, the same role. He put the play Marion de Lorme by Victor Hugo into Dutch verse in 1870.
