1. Elwood House Marker
Inscription. Built in 1883 by Ellar Elwood. After townsite established by federal court decree, deed received June 15, 1885, by T. Elwood Clark. The three-story wood trimmed brick structure, shown on 1886 map as a boarding house and residence, escaped the 1888 great fire retaining both structural and historical integrity.
