1. Potts Tavern Marker
Inscription. Historic stage coach tavern erected by Kirkbride Potts with slave labor. This tavern was a station on the Butterfield-Overland Mail. It was operated as a tavern both before and after the existence of the Butterfield-Overland Mail contract. It has been the home of the Potts family continuously, since erection.
