Innately athletic, he performed successfully all sports he participated in. First Juanadino to exceed 40' in the triple jump event, he served in the U.S. Armed Forces where he prominently participated as a pitcher. Due to his performance, he was signed by several teams and participated in several leagues, declared the most popular player in the Double A league in the southern United States.
