Luego de obtener un bachillerato en ciensias de la Universidad Catolica de Puerto Rico, opta por el quehacer deportivo como via profesional destacandose y brillando tanto en boxeo como en beisbol, desde la decada del 40 en el Charles H. Terry, jugando con futuras estrellas con el garage comercio y Estrellas Juveniles, luego pasa a Nueva York donde boxeo y jugo diversas posiciones en la liga hispana de Nueva York. Durante su vida militar jugo y boxeo para el campeonato de Paris Island, finalmente viajo a Lingwood, Florida donde se recibo como arbitro al graduarse con altos honores.
After obtaining his Bachelor of Science from Catholic University of Puerto Rico, he opted to pursue a career in professional sports, standing out in both boxing and baseball, from the 1940s at Charles H. Terry, playing with future stars with the garage trade and Youth Stars, then moving to New York where he boxed and played various positions in the New York Hispanic League.
