Inscription.  
Adquiere su nombre el 18 de mayo de 1956 mediante la besolucion num 34-1955-56 de la asamblea municipal de Ponce bajo la presidencia del honorable Hernan Fourquet en honor a los tres jovenes de la Playa de Ponce, fallecidos durante la Guerra de Corea: Hilario Martinez, Armando Cedeρo, y Luis Pacheco Lespier.

La plaza se remodelo en el aρo 1995 por el gobierno Municipal Autonomo de Ponce bajo la administracion del Alcalde Honorable Rafael Gordero Santiago.

[English translation:]
It was so named on May 18, 1956 through resolution number 34-1955-56 of the Municipal Assembly of Ponce under the administration of the Hon. Hernan Fourquet in honor of the three young men from Playa, Ponce who died during the Korean War: Hilario Martinez, Armando Cedeρo, and Luis Pacheco Lespier.

The plaza was remodeled in 1995 by the Autonomous Municipal Government of Ponce under the administration of the Hon. Mayor Rafael Gordero Santiago.
