Don Luis siempre será recordado como un filantropo, ingeniero, empresario, pianista, y patrón de las bellas artes: también por su caballerosidad, carisma, entrega para con su pueblo y gran calidad de ser humano.

Among his works as Governor, he stands out for having obtained federal aid for Puerto Ricans and guaranteeing the Christmas bonus.

Don Luis will always be remembered as a philanthropist, engineer, businessman, pianist, and patron of the fine arts: also for his chivalry, charisma, dedication to his people, and great quality of human being.
