El soldado caborrojeño a traves de la historia ha luchado por los nobles principios de la justicia y la libertad. Defendiendolos con un elevado sentido de la responsabilidad y gallardia aun a costa de sus propias vidas.
La ciudad de Cabo Rojo se enorgullece en edificar este monumento a los valientes soldades de nuestro pueblo que han servido con servido con heroismo y genuino amor por la patria en todos y cada uno de los conflictos belicos en que nuestra nacion los requerido.
Dedicamos este monumento y esta placa a todos aquellos velerosos ciudadanos que con gran honor y orgullo han servido al ejercito de los Estados Unidos de Norte America convirtiendose en verdaderos centinelas de la democracia.
The Caborrojeño soldier throughout history has fought for the noble principles of justice and freedom, defending them with a high sense of responsibility and gallantry even at the cost of their own lives.
The city of Cabo Rojo is proud to build this monument to the brave soldiers of our people who have served with heroism and genuine love for the country in each and every one of the armed conflicts in which our nation required them.
We dedicate this monument and this plaque to all those brave citizens who with great honor and pride have served the United States Army, becoming true defenders of democracy.
