1. F. S. Hurd House Marker
Inscription.

F. S. Hurd built this house in 1904. He came here in 1902 to establish a bank, now First National. He also founded Broken Arrow Federal Savings and Loan. He promoted agriculture and supported farm youth programs. Hurd was known as "Mr. Broken Arrow" for his vast community services.
