La Guerra del Golfo nos hace entender que aun existen crisis mundiales provocadas por quienes anteponen sus ambiciones al derecho de paz y justicia del hombre.

Quienes valerosamente lucharon en esta "tormenta del desierto" tambien nos hacen entender que la dignidad y libertad del mundo prevalecen y triunpan con unidad de propositos y con la bendicion de Dios.

En Guayanilla nos sentimos orgullosos de nuestros veteranos del Golfo.

[English translation:]
The Gulf War reminds us that there are still world crises caused by those who put their ambitions before humanity's right to peace and justice.

Those who courageously fought in this "Desert Storm" also make us understand that the dignity and freedom of the world prevail and triumph with unity of purpose and with God's blessing.

In Guayanilla we are proud of our Gulf veterans.
