[English translation:]
This memorial honors all World War II veterans who were involved in the fight for freedom in the world. Whatever theater for the battle, the Pacific or Europe, they faced a brutal enemy. Yet, they possessed inner strength and heart that helped them storm the beaches at Normandy, the deserts of North Africa and the islands in the South Pacific.

Erected 1993 by Municipio de Guayanilla, Hon. Ceferino Pacheco Giudicelli, Alcalde.
