La Solución Final / The Final Solution
Photographed By Devry Becker Jones (CC0), June 7, 2023
At first, the Jews were murdered by means of mass shootings in open trenches or pits, dug by the victims themselves. These were often carried out in full view of local populations. Soon, the Nazis considered this method inefficient to achieve the Final Solution. They then directed their bureaucracy and technology to build death camps designed to systematically murder thousands of Jews daily.
Erected 2012.
