1. The Bilecki Family Marker
Inscription.

The Bilecki family, two teenagers with their parents, saved twenty-three Jews who escaped from the ghetto before it was liquidated. They sheltered them in underground bunkers in the woods. Many of these Jews were friends of the family, but others were strangers seeking refuge. They provided them food, clothing, and news, risking their lives on a daily basis until liberation.

Erected 2012.
