Fue a traves del contacto directo con su pueblo, de escuchar sus planteamientos, aspiraciones, preocupaciones y urgencias, que Don Luis Muñoz Marin cambio el curso de nuestra historia.

El primer gobernador electo por voto directo se inspiro en la trilogia: pan, tierra y libertad para forjar un proyecto de gobierno visionario, basado en los posulados de paz, democracia, justicia social y trabajo digno, su legado transformo la faz de de su tierra y reescribio el futuro de su pueblo, convirtieniendo al ideologo y arquitecto del Puerto Rico moderno en el lider de todos los tiempos.

Desde hacienda carolinense los naranjales, despego su proyecto politico, hoy esta tierra de gigantes retoma la antorcha de su ejemplo y le rinde tributo permanente de admiracion y agradecimiento.

It was through direct contact with his people, listening to their approaches, aspirations, concerns and urgency, that Luis Muñoz Marin changed the course of our history.
