Overview (in translation): Serine Regine Normann (1867–1939) was a Norwegian writer. She was the first known female writer from Northern Norway. Her authorship includes 18 books – both social realist and historical novels, short stories and a children's book, Nordic legends and art adventures . She was a board member of Den norske Forfatterforening from 1913 to 1932 and was good friends with the writers Sigrid Undset, Nini Roll Anker and Barbra Ring.

Together with her second husband, the writer Tryggve Andersen , she was known in artist circles for her literary parties in Stensgaten in Kristiania. Regine Normann is today best known for her two collections of art adventures from 1925 and 1926 , which have been republished several times under the title Ringelihorn,
