Chelsea in Washtenaw County, Michigan — The American Midwest (Great Lakes)
The Livery Lot
Palmer Motor Sales stored automobiles in the livery during World War II. Longworth Plating operated its business from 1946-2002. The City of Chelsea bought the Longworth Property in 2008, and eventually demolished the livery in 2014 to make way for a parking lot. In 2022, this area was designated by the Chelsea Area Historical Society and the City as the Livery Lot.
